VISIT TO KOK TOBE HILL
Koktobe is the highest point in the city of Almaty standing on an 1100 m hill at the south-east edge of the city. It is worth a visit to Koktobe because of its panoramic view of the city from all directions. To reach the Koktobe hill, one should take a cable car ride which starts near Hotel Kazakhstan and goes over some of the oldest parts of Almaty and the magnificent fruit growing gardens. Once you reach the Koktobe hill, you would see the famous 372 m high TV Tower which is visible from far and offers great views of the mountains and the city plus many attractions at the top including many restaurants serving cuisines from across the globe.

VISIT TO SHYMBULAK SKI RESORT
Proceed on an excursion to the beautiful mountain resort of Shymbulak Ski resort including Gondola tickets to level 3 and services of our English speaking guide.

“Shymbulak Ski Resort” is located in the beautiful Zailiyskiy Alatau mountain at 2260 m above sea level. It is 25 Km from the city centre of Almaty city and has an average temperature of +25C in the summer & -7C in the winter months. The average snowfall is around 1.5M. It is usually very sunny as the average number of sunny days a year can reach 90%. Ski season is normally begins in December and can run into April.

The ski slopes are served by Gondola cars from “Medeu” to the base of Shymbulak, 2260 m above sea level. This Gondola is the world’s third-longest Gondola with a length of 4.5 KM. The Gondola has 114 comfortable cabins for all guests of the resort and has the capacity of 2,000 people per hour. The Ski resort has six lifts that service the mountains. Two combination lifts (Combi1 & Combi2) that have both quad-chairs and 8 passenger cabins, two quad-chair lifts. The lift system will take you to Talgar pass where you are 3180 m above sea level. A vertical rise of 920 m. The majestic mountain view with snowy slopes and evergreen Tien Shan are spectacular and must be seen.

Located in the resort is a hotel, restaurants, cafe and coffee shop with a variety of cuisine to suit all taste.

Almaty is great for shopping. Your tour guide will take you to visit various modern shopping malls around the city. Some of the well known malls are Mega Mall, Dostyk Plaza, Villa boutiques.

PANFILOV PARK & ZENKOV CATHEDRAL
Its Almaty’s most popular strolling and picnic places for people of all ages. The Park is named and dedicated to the Panfilov Heroes who were 28 soldiers of an Almaty Infantry. Their memories are etched at the fearsome war memorial east of the Zenkov Cathedral which depict soldiers from all 15 soviet republics on the map of USSR. The Park is lush green area and it’s a good place to sit, rest, relax and see the bustling sights of the city.

“ZenkovCathedral”,is one of the most beautiful, magnificent and architectural monument of the city of Almaty with the height of 56 meters and is located in the green Panfilov Park of Almaty. A. Zenkov had supervised the construction of this cathedral in the early 19th century and legend goes that it was built without a single nail. But unfortunately, it’s not true. Although the design is remarkably unique but it’s because of the advanced technological expertise of that time. They used the construction concept of Semi ruche which meant using of reinforced concrete, timber preservation and ventilation.

GREEN BAZAAR + RAKHAT CHOCOLATE SHOP
If you are among these, who don’t like to go to a mall and prefer the outdoor market among fresh air and belong to the old-school shopping type, then without wasting any time, head straight towards the Zelyony Bazaar located close to the Paniflov Park in Almaty. Also, known as the Green Market, this market is your typical local market where you can purchase everything starting from meat to spices to fruits to even clothes and furniture. The key to shopping here is that you should have a flair for bargaining and you can get everything at a very reasonable rate.

You will be delighted to see the colourful atmosphere and the variety of goods available.

Right next door is the famous Rakhat Chocolate shop. Rakhat which means pleasure in Kazakh is the oldest manufactures of chocolates dating back to almost 70 years. Around 3500 workers work in basically 2 factories, one located in Almaty and one in Shymkent city. They also make chocolates for people suffering from diabetes and their low-calorie products like candies, cookies and waffles are a range among the people and tourists.

BAKU EYE (FERRIES WHEEL)
Baku Ferris Wheel, also known as the Baku Eye is a ferries wheel on Baku Boulevard in the Seaside National Park of Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. The wheel was built by the Dutch company Dutch Wheels.

The wheel is 60 metres (200 ft) tall and has 30 cabins, each holding eight people. It makes a complete turn in 30 to 40 minutes

FUNICULAR RIDE – HIGHLAND PARK
The Funicular Railway has been completed in May, 2012, just in time for the Eurovision Song contest. According to some articles, they only had 1 year time for planning and building this inclinator that moves its visitor’s right up to the Mertyr Hill and the Sehidler Xiyabani Tower.

It is open 10am to 10 pm. The funicular leaves every about 15 minutes. In order to get on it you can just get to the entrance and wait until the conductor opens the doors to let some 20 people inn and let them get on the funicular. The view is great and you can see all of Baku to plan your next destination

EVENING TOUR OF ICHERI SHEHER (OLD CITY)
A city within the city. Icheri Sheher is the oldest residential area in Baku. It was declared a historical and cultural reserve in 1977,and was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000.By visiting Old City you may observe both how people live today and lived centuries ago in this area. The history of Old City goes to Bronze age. Mosques, Hamams, Karvansarays, Divans, Palaces and of course symbol of Baku - Maiden Tower will welcome you during your trip here.

SHOOTING EXPERIENCE
Baku Shooting Centre started functioning on March 9, 2015. This center is one of the largest shooting complexes in Europe and it is located in Bilajari settlement of Baku. The area of the functional zones of the center is more than 123,000 square meters. The building includes various functional areas, a cafe, a VIP waiting and recreation, management, training, doping control, weapons storage, 55-seat 2 conference and media rooms, a medical center, and a fitness hall. Shooting competitions at the distances of 10, 25, 50 and 300 meters can be held in the center. The firing line allowing 80 athletes to compete simultaneously was constructed in ten-meter indoor shooting range. 50 athletes can compete simultaneously in twenty-five-meter half-open shooting range. 346 seats were constructed in the center.

Shooting is a nice activity for those who are adventure seekers. The instructors and all staff are pretty nice. It’s a new feeling for those who are trying it for first time.

ABSHERON PENINSULA TOUR
Absheron Peninsula tour includes a combination of the two most interesting places not far from Baku such as Ateshgah Fire Temple &Yanardag. Our guide will help you not to get lost in the maze of the history of the Absheron Peninsula.

Your tour starts at your hotel, and your first stop will be Ateshgah (Fire Temple), which located in the Suraxani village, 30 km away from Baku. It is situated on a rock where natural emergences of gas on the surface have been burning for thousands of years. Here you will learn more about one of the most remarkable Zoroastrian temples which was actually built by 18th century Indian Shiva devotees.

Your excursion continues on the other most famous and popular tourist places of the “eternal flame” in Azerbaijan is the Yanar Dag Burning Mountain, which is located near Mahammadli village, 25 km from downtown. In the 13th century, Marco Polo mentioned many natural gas flames burning spontaneously from the territory of Abşheron Peninsula. One of such places Yanardag (burning mountain from azerb) still exists. Natural gas burning on its slope from ancient times. Meter long tongues of fire are licking the stratified earth approximately for 10 m in width, searing those who approached too close. People occupy the benches to watch the blazing hill in the evening, when its sight is most effective. Here you will have a chance to discover why Azerbaijan nickname is “Land of Fire”.

GOBUSTAN NATIONAL PARK
Gobustan geographical region is situated in the west-south of Baku. The meaning of the word «Gobustan» is derived from two words «gobu» – «ravine» and «stan»- «place», i.e. ravine area. The word «gobu» is also of Turkic origin and means «a dried up river valley».

The tour will start off from Gobustan Museum where you will see ancient human bones, work tools used in back to thousand years ago during the Mesolithic period. Then, you will advance to the mountain in order to see real rock paintings in the open air museum.

YASIL BAZAAR (GREEN MARKET)
This is the traditional bazaar full of fresh vegetables, fruits and the green just from the regions. The prices for all of these are quite affordable. That's why locals also prefer to do shopping in this bazaar. And of course don't forget to bargain - you can save a little money.

By this way you may have chance to get organic food and feel the real authenticity - people from the regions will love to communicate with you. And for the saved money you can buy several different things, for instance souvenirs.
